After the events of Katrina, the Mississippi Assemblies of God were there to help. Realizing that everything that was done was not enough a new department was developed. We are here not just for Mississippi but wherever we can be of service.
Our purpose is to provide support for those whose lives have been disrupted by catastrophic events. At a time when life delivers a horrific blow there is always a need for intervention. We plan to respond with various means to aid those who are hurting. Our goal is to be able to respond not just locally but nationally should the need arise. We are developing resources second to none from debris removal, communications to restoring infrastructure. From our core to outer most parts, are our volunteers. People caring for people. That's what we are and that's what we are about.
